He's still sticking with England to win it out

The man, the legend, the honorary Tsar, John Duggan was on the line to give us his latest update live from Russia.

The Head of Today FM Sport (and offtheball.com writer) was live from a train this morning with his review of last night's semi-final and told us why he thinks France pose a big threat in the final. He's wasn't too happy with "the impetuousness of youth" shown by Mbappe though.

He also takes a look ahead at tonight's second semi-final between Croatia and England where he feels people are looking at the English team "through the rear-view mirror". The Croats are hardy, but he's sticking to his original prediction.

In fairness, he did say at the very beginning that he fancied Gareth Southgate's lads to win it out so maybe it's on the way 'home'.
