There could be some truth to the expression 'silver fox'

A new study has found that, rather than ageing being a negative thing, men continue to increase in attractiveness up until the age of 50.

The study was published in the journal Science Advances and looked at people's interactions on a major online dating site using the same algorithms that Google uses.

The most popular person on the site was a 30-year-old New York woman, who had interactions every half hour in a 24-hour period.

However, the study also found that in contrast to men, women's attractiveness was highest at age 18.

Aoife Barry and Pat Fitzpatrick discussed this and some of the other stories that caught their eye this week in The Week Trending.
