The day has finally come.

After the doubts and u-turns of a few months back, all eyes are today on Páirc Uí Chaoimh as the Liam Miller memorial match takes place. And it's going to be epic.

It's a legendary line-up with a team of former Manchester United players going up against a mixture of ex Celtic and Republic of Ireland players.

It's Roy Keane at the helm for the Manchester United team with Martin O'Neill taking the reigns of the Celtic/Republic of Ireland players.

Take a look at the quality on offer:

One of the Irish heroes strutting their stuff is the man with the sweetest left foot in all of the land, Kevin Kilbane.

Chatting on Dermot and Dave, the offtheball.com broadcaster told of his excitement at getting prepared for a big game after such an absence, "getting the boots in the bag and getting down there, it does give a feeling of what it was like 10/15 years ago"

He wasn't too hopeful when asked of his chances if he comes up against Roy Keane or Nicky Butt, "I don't want to think about that too much yet". Wouldn't blame ya Kev!

The former winger also joins Dave in his admiration for Denis Irwin and Séamus Coleman, takes a look at what both squads have to offer (though he does admit "we're right up against it") and answers some of our listeners questions.

Virgin Media Three kick off their coverage at 2pm with the game starting at 3pm. Highlights will be shown on Virgin Media One @10pm tonight.

The sold-out tribute will host 45,000 spectators, two unbelievable teams and a stadium full of honour, love and memories.

There is also a non-attendance ticket for anyone who didn't get a chance to make the main event.

It costs €7 (€5 for the ticket + €2 p&p) for the official matchday brochure and the chance to win a jersey signed by both teams. That's some prize lads!!

As with all of this event, the proceeds from the souvenir brochure will go to the Liam Miller Fund.
