The Inbetweeners has been off the air for a few years, but one of its stars is insistent that the show could not be made today.

James Buckley, who played Jay Cartwright, stated in an interview with Digital Spy that "it seems to be cool to be offended", and that this is "killing comedy."

The actor went on to say that people might be more offended by The Inbetweeners if it were made in 2018.

Is he right? Would the show possibly be too much for audiences now, or has anything really changed? And are people too easily offended by comedy?

Jennifer Gannon and Pamela Joyce discussed this and more in our weekly TV slot.
