Over 50,000 people have been caught on their phones while driving in the past two years, an average of 68 drivers per day.
Offences have included taking selfies and live streaming behind the wheel.
Our motoring expert Michael Sheridan says using phones will driving is a serious distraction that needs to be treated with the same severity as drink driving.
He also revealed the Car of the Year 2018 award winners, which were given to new cars that have been launched since last October.
