Dublin's Club 92 is closing its doors after 30 years.
The club, formerly known as Blinkers, was opened under new management in 1987. It became particularly well known for its slow set, which remained a feature until eight years ago. It was one of the last clubs in Dublin to have one.
Club 92 is the latest in a long line of nightclub closures around the country. Is it a generational thing, reflective of changing tastes? And does it mean nightclubs are on the way out?
