David Gray's White Ladder was nothing short of a musical phenomenon on this Island.
According to IRMA it is still the best selling album ever in Ireland with recorded sales of 350,000.
That's literally 1 in 10 people at the time. Have a look around your house there's probably a copy somewhere.
And the album sold 7 million worldwide.
Ed Sheeran and John Mayer have spoken about how much it has influenced them and their music.
It's track list is now awash with well worn classics like Please Forgive Me, Sail Away, Babylon and This Year's Love. And they still sound as fresh today.
****This year it celebrates it's 20th Anniversary and to celebrate David Gray was to be doing three very special nights at The 3 Arena in April.*** These dates have now been rescheduled to 2021.
