You may remember that last week on the Breakfast Show we put out a vote to our listeners to tell us which of these three songs they would like Brian Deady to perform LIVE on this morning's show - would it be Just The Two Of Us by Bill Withers, Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper, or Stevie Wonder's I Just Called To Say I Love You.
Now it's pretty obvious that you went for Time After Time, which won by a proverbial mile, but what wasn't so obvious was how amazing Brian's cover would be. Talk about the perfect Valentine's day theme tune!!
The Cork man, with a voice as smooth as melted chocolate, also treated us to this live performance of his latest track Eloise, which is now on the Today Fm playlist (so you'll be hearing it loads).
If you want to catch Brian live (which I'm sure you do), he'll be playing some great venues next month:
- March 16th - Whelan's in Dublin
- March 17th - St Patrick's Gateway, Waterford
- March 18th - Dolan's in Limerick
- March 19th - The Róisín Dubh, Galway
That's your Paddy's weekend sorted anyway!

Big shout-out to the band too: Steve O'Brien on drums, Rory McCarthy on keys, Mark Shorthall on guitar and Rob Daly on bass. Outstanding stuff lads...absolutely class!!

And for more pieces of magic like this, tune into The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show weekday mornings from 7am.
