Before Christmas, The Last Word featured a debate on the proliferation of gambling across all areas of life.
David Conn, football writer for The Guardian, has now written a piece about the relationship between football and gambling, based on a study conducted by Dr Darragh McGee at the University of Bath into the way young people now watch sport on television.
David joined us to discuss the "dire consequences" of football's relationship with gambling, how and why it has been normalised, and why "the number and definition of problem gamblers is significantly underestimated."
