The most searched item in Ireland this year was Wordle.
Google's 'Year in Search' gives a snapshot of what Irish people were searching most in 2022.
Ukraine was the second most searched term this year, followed by Queen Elizabeth and Aisling Murphy.
'How to play Wordle' was number three in Google's 'How To' list.
Wordle also topped the list in the Tech searches category, followed by six other word-puzzle games. Heardle, Quordle, Globle, Nerdle, Foclach, and Octordle made up seven of the top 10 Tech category search terms.
Google searches also helped to keep people in Ireland up-to-date with the latest Hollywood scandals, with Johnny Depp and Amber Heard topping the most searched people list followed closely by Will Smith who hit the headlines after a dramatic 2022 Oscars Ceremony in March of this year.
Unsurprisingly the World Cup took the top spot in the Sport searches category.
