Ireland's Greatest Sportsperson! That's the opinion of a lot of people when the name of Padraig Harrington is mentioned. We've interviewed him on the show a number of show over the years and we've found him to be one of the most accommodating guests we've ever had on.
So when we asked if we could go out to his house and interview him in his home, his answer was a big YES!
After moving a couple of Open trophies out of the way, we set up in the kitchen with notes & questions from listeners and fans.
Topics included his goals for 2016, swing advice for listeners, golf gadgets, a potential autobiography, advice from his Dad & also what nickname his fellow pro's have for him on tour.
As Ian explained this morning, we went over to Padraig's house to do about 20 minutes and we ended up with over an hour of stuff! And it was us who ended it, Padraig wanted to keep on going.
