"An unrated and under-promoted career and choice"

Conal talks to the Sunday Business Show about  the need for  professional management in business, how companies can get it very wrong and what insights he has learned throughout the years.

Conal Henry joined enet as Chief Executive Officer in 2006 with a proven track record in executive management and driving sales growth in the telecoms industry.

He described the task of management as "working out what needs to get done and finding out how to get it done".

During his time at the helm enet has grown revenues from €1.8M to €22.8M with a CAGR of 64%, the company has concluded landmark deals with Vodafone, struck significant commercial arrangements with backhaul suppliers, and has launched innovative projects such as the Fibre to the Business initiative.

While discussing the topic of management, Conal noted that in Ireland it is an "unrated and under-promoted career and choice".
