There is no doubting the power of the Pumpkin Spiced Latte around Halloween.
Over a billion cups of this Autumn classic have been brewed since US coffee companies introduced it at turn of the millennium.
Coffee expert Suzanne Casey joined Ray Foley on Today FM to dish out her tips on how to save money and make your own pumpkin spiced lattes at home.
The trick all lies in the pumpkin syrup.
You can buy it in the shop or you can make it at home. It's made up of light brown sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and water.
Nail your syrup and you'll be rolling in budget friendly pumpkin spiced lattes until Christmas.
So what would one pair with a Pumpkin Spiced Latte to elevate the Autumnal vibes to an even higher level?
Suzanne recommends a cider donut as the perfect pastry to accompany your seasonal sip.
"I love New England flavours, so cider donuts are perfect. They use apple cider in the batter, they bake it and then they roll it in cinnamon sugar and it's always served warm."
What if Pumkin just isn't your thing?
You heard the hype, you tried it and you're not a fan.
Fear not you can still indulge in some seasonal silliness by replacing the pumpkin with some maple syrup.
Still add the cinnamon and the nutmeg but now you're a maple spiced latte drinker and that sounds even fancier!
