Anyhow, they had stories of cabbage as the new wonder medicine; otter crossings in Kilcock; the commuting beggars of Kilkenny; Swedish dogs with Westmeath accents; the Galway County Councillor who managed to insult all County Councillors (and TD's) by saying they needed to be more educated and the woman who was pulled over for driving whilst making a call, but who kept a Garda waiting at the side of the road until she had finished her call!
