Congratulations to our winner Kiernan Ahern from Co. Cork

You Do The Maps is a treasure hunt with a difference. Every weekday, until Monday 29th June one lucky listener will win €10,000. Each day you will have to find 5 numbers at various locations throughout Ireland using Street View on Google Maps.

When you have all 5 numbers, add them up and text the word MAPS followed by your 4-digit answer and your name and location to 53102.

The clues and answers for Thursday 4 June, have been revealed... Did you guess the right answer?!

IAN DEMPSEY BREAKFAST SHOW CLUE:

Ballyragget and District Credit Union is on Castle Street, in Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. On Google Streetview, you can see the date it was established is over the door. That 4-digit number is the one we're looking for. (ANS: 1972)

THE ANTON SAVAGE SHOW CLUE:

In Clonakilty in Co Cork if you travel along Ashe Street on Google Streetview, you'll find the Tourist Office. There's a 2-digit number on the shop sign. That's your number. (ANS: 25)

DERMOT AND DAVE CLUE:

In Borrisokane in Co Tipperary, on Mill Street you’ll see David Clarke Memorial Hall on Google maps. In Street View you’ll see a speed limit sign tucked in behind a pole to the right of the entrance gate. What’s the 2-digit number on that sign? (ANS: 50)

LOUISE DUFFY SHOW CLUE:

Half way between Rathangan and Portarlington in Co. Laois, there’s a village called Bracknagh. Just outside of the village on the road to Rathangan, you’ll find St Broghan’s National School. There are 2 dates on the front of the school.. One of them is 2010,  the other number is the 4-digit number we’re looking for? (ANS: 1910)

THE LAST WORD CLUE:

In Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan on St Joseph's Terrace, you can see on Google Streetview that the houses at either end have a plaque over the door with the same date on them. That date is your 4-digit number. (ANS: 1870)

OVERALL ANSWER: 5827

YOU DO THE MAPS - Tune in again tomorrow to be in with a chance of winning yet another €10,000

How to use Street View on Google Maps

We asked Dermot & Dave to make a little video tutorial of how to use Street View on Google Maps in their own inimitable way. For more detailed instructions, click here.

Handy Tip - when trying to find the answers, we recommend zooming in on areas rather than using the search bar of Google Maps. Not all of the clue locations will come up when using the search option.
