The mysterious world of badgers and the sex of Kanye West’s children somehow infiltrated Anton’s chat with the brilliant comedy trio Foil, Arms and Hog, aka Sean Finegan (Foil), Conor McKenna (Arms) and Sean Flanagan (Hog).
The trio are well known on TV and on stage but it perhaps their Youtube channel to where you should be going if you are not acquainted with them, and in particular have a look at their ‘How to Speak Dublin’ sketch which has just gone viral. It’s not the only internationally known sketch there. The trio put up new sketches every week, and magic sketches such as ‘Never Take an Irish person literally’, ‘Hashtag’, ‘Web Summit’, ‘Mobile Hospital’ and many more.
The trio gave up the world of academia to pursue comedy and Anton was intrigued by their paths to comedy, particularly as among them is an engineer, an architect and a genetics expert, that is badger genetics.
They upload new videos every Thursday on their You Tube Channel. Last week’s hilarious ‘How To Speak Dublin’ depicts Foreign language class taught how to speak Dublin by a gouger teacher.

Seeing them live was once compared to sitting down on a mate’s couch for some particularly memorable high octane high nonsense.
They are playing Cork’s City Limits on 18 and 19 December (tickets.ie) and return to Dublin’s Vicar Street on 2 April with extra dates to be added!
