To celebrate and exclusively reveal the line up for the 2016 Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, Anton was joined by the brilliant Irish comedy trio and sketch group Foil, Arms and Hog.

They had what can only be described as a chat that touched all bases, including Hog’s bottom, Jason Byrne’s bottom, tunnels for animals (the return), festivals, killing time, spare time, bad jobs, and their time as ‘The Ice Men’ when they were encountered abuse and, er, wet willies.

Have a listen back here:

Sean Finegan (Foil), Conor McKenna (Arms) and Sean Flanagan (Hog) formed at UCD, (studying respectively Engineering, Architecture and Genetics) and have been touring live shows in Ireland, UK, US and Australia over the last 9 years to audience and critical acclaim.

They work out of a regular office in Dublin where they write, film and edit own sketches for YouTube and their channel features new videos most Thursdays.

Their latest sketch to garner acclaim is ‘REMEMBERING THE HEROES (1916)’ a genuinely hilarious car crash sketch about a poorly researched TV show.

Other notable sketches is the ‘LEARN TO SPEAK DUBLIN’ sketch which went huge internationally with almost 300,000 hits. Set in a foreign language class, new Dubliners are taught how to speak Dublin by a gouger teacher.

Having sold out Vicar Street as part of their Irish tour, the guys return there for two nights on 13 May and 27 May, and they will also open the Cat Laughs on June 2. They are also appearing at a number of other Irish festivals and one-off shows and are about to embark on a major 16 Date UK tour. It’s only their 2nd tour, but bigger venues!
