What if an item you bought online isn’t the colour you thought it was or you are told a faulty sale item can’t be returned?

We all experience frustrating consumer challenges at some point in our daily lives.

So what are your consumer rights?

Ahead of World Consumer Rights Day on Monday 15th March, the Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is inviting you to put your knowledge to the test with the ultimate consumer rights quiz on Today FM.

Every day this week Fergal D’Arcy will invite listeners to answer a daily consumer rights quiz question to be in with a chance to win a €250 One4All voucher.

Tune in weekdays from 2pm to win.

World Consumer Rights Day

Consumer rights are there to protect us, particularly if something goes wrong. As we approach World Consumer Rights Day 2021, the CCPC is encouraging Today FM listeners to tune in, take part and refresh their consumer rights knowledge. The events of the past year have shown how quickly circumstances can change, highlighting the importance of knowing our consumer rights. As consumers, it is important that we understand what we are entitled to.

The CCPC supports and empowers consumers to know and use their consumer rights by providing free, independent information on what you are entitled to and what to do if something goes wrong. For more information on your rights visit ccpc.ie or, if you would like to speak to a consumer rights expert, call the CCPC’s dedicated consumer helpline on 01 402 5555.
