Kerry people have been urged not to be alarmed if an increased amount of drones are spotted in the skies in the coming months. As shooting starts on the next Star Wars movie it is understood that so paranoid are the film-makers about it, and keeping the shoot secret, they may do what they are doing in Croatia, where they have hired a specialist team to fly armed drones which will be used to shoot down any camera drones that are spotted trying to spy on the film’s extensive sets. This week, The Kerryman speculates: “Could we expect to see drone dogfights in the sky above Ceann Sibéal.”
