The tweet left fans baffled and people began looking for possible reasons for the random tweet - even Conor McGregor got involved by showing his support:

But after days of speculation, Biebs confirmed yesterday that he was just joking and he knows that if he did take on the Mission Impossible star he would get his a** handed to him.
When questioned by paparazzi about the potential fight Justin said he had just watched an interview with Tom Cruise and the idea randomly came into his head.
