The worlds largest skinny dip attempt is taking place this summer, all to raise funds for a vital cause.
The sixth Strip and Dip, a charity swim with a difference, will take place in Wicklow on June 9.
People will be stripping and dipping this year for Ireland’s National Children’s Cancer Charity – www.aoibheannspinktie.ie
This is an event to celebrate people who have beaten cancer, an event which acknowledges those who are still struggling with cancer and other illnesses and an event to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer.
Organisers say the day is emotional, uplifting and also the best craic.
This year swimmers are fundraising for Aoibheanns Pink Tie, their aim is to make children's journey with cancer more comfortable.
Aoibheann's parents say, 'We will run out of time before we run out of ideas and ways to help the children of Ireland and the world blighted by childhood cancer, it is everything to all of us in Aoibheann’s Pink Tie it is the blood that courses through our veins it is a mission we will never give up or back away no matter how hard it is.'
