Congratulations to our winner Demelza O'Sullivan.

You Do The Maps is a treasure hunt with a difference. Every weekday, until Monday 29th June one lucky listener will win €10,000. Each day you will have to find 5 numbers at various locations throughout Ireland using Street View on Google Maps.

When you have all 5 numbers, add them up and text the word MAPS followed by your 4-digit answer and your name and location to 53102.

The clues and answers for Monday June 22nd have been revealed... Did you guess the right answer?!

BREAKFAST CLUE

On the bottom of Bogbere St in Ennistymon , Co Clare you’ll see the Post Office. Across the road on the corner is a derelict building with a Post Office mural painted onto the gable end. To the left of that mural is a red corrugated building. On the wooden pole in front of it is white poster with blue writing. There’s a number of ‘miles’ mentioned on that sign. That’s your 3-digit number. (250)

ANTON’S CLUE

The Credit Union in Swanlinbar in Co Cavan is on the N87 which runs through the town. Directly outside it is a wooden utility pole with a number on a yellow background that’s clearly visible on Google Streetview. That’s your single digit number for today. (5)

DERMOT AND DAVE

In Ballyvaughan in Co Clare, if you leave the village and travel along the coast on the R477 on Google Streetview,  you’ll happen upon some building machinery parked on the right hand ride of the road. There’s a yellow dump truck and an orange digger. On the body of the digger is a serial number that ends ‘LC-V’ The 3-digit number before the letters is the number we want. (130)

LOUISE DUFFY SHOW

If you travel along the Ring of Kerry you’ll find yourself in Caherdaniel on the N70. At the crossroads in the village, there’s a collection of about 20 signs on one corner. On Google Streetview you’ll see that the one closest to the ground tells you how many metres it is to the HOSTEL. That’s your 2-digit number. (30)

THE LAST WORD

In Galway city, you’ll find St Patricks Primary School on Lombard St. There’s a white painted sign on a tall building on the school grounds. There are 2 dates on the sign. One is 2004. The other one is your 4-digit number. (1954)

How to use Street View on Google Maps

We asked Dermot & Dave to make a little video tutorial of how to use Street View on Google Maps in their own inimitable way. For more detailed instructions, click here.

Handy Tip - when trying to find the answers, we recommend zooming in on areas rather than using the search bar of Google Maps. Not all of the clue locations will come up when using the search option.
