An Irishwoman has gotten her high school diploma at the age of 107.
Hanna Lovett, who was born in Kerry, left school early to help support her family and later emigrated to New York.
Hanna, who lives in Long Island, was presented with an honorary diploma during the Mattituck Junior-Senior School graduation ceremony.
She has 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Mrs Lovett can still recite long poems she learned as a girl and always wanted to return to education but never got the chance.
