Locals living near the Poolbeg incinerator say it’s frightening that a leak has happened so soon after it started operating.
Eleven staff members working at the incinerator were hospitalised after an accidental lime leak at the plant last night.
The company operating the plant, Covanta says there was no impact outside the plant.

The General Manager of the company which manages the Poolbeg Incinerator in Dublin says the plant is 'absolutely' safe.
It's after an accidental leak of lime that left 11 workers in hospital.
Two of them remain in St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin, but should be released this afternoon.
The HSA is carrying out an investigation on site and all testing of the facility has stopped.
John Daly, General Manager of Dublin Waste Managing, says they're also investigating the cause of the leak - but people shouldn't be worried.
The operator Covanta says a small amount of lime was inadvertently released inside the flue gas treatment area late last night.
There were 11 workers close by at the time, first aid was administered at the scene before they were taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
Two of them were kept in overnight.
Covanta says the lime was contained within the building and did not escape into the environment.
Both the EPA and the Health and Safety Authority were notified and the company is now cooperating fully with them.
