500 new jobs are on the way at Amazon in Dublin.

The positions will be mainly tech related as the website expands its European workforce.

The company is looking for data centre technicians, software engineers and customer support staff for its European hub in Dublin.

With over a million customers worldwide the business is growing its retail side with new products for devices like the Kindle.

Amazon set up in Ireland in 2004 and already employs over 17-hundred people here.

Its last expansion was two years ago when it hired an extra 300 workers and valued its Irish operations at around 1-point-5 billion Euro.
