Eight people are due to appear in court later this month in connection with unofficial motoring events in county Clare.
A woman and seven men were detained at a number of locations around the county yesterday morning.
The drivers of modified cars were targeted - as part of an intelligence led operation.
It follows an event at the Corkscrew Hill in Ballyvaughan on the night of March 7th last - which was attended by 70 vehicles.
All eight were charged by gardai in connection with the incident and released on bail.
They will appear before Ennis District on the 23rd of April.
