The Sinn Féin leader has denied claims he personally ordered the murder of a British informant.
Gerry Adams has dismissed the claims made in a BBC documentary, surrounding the death of former Sinn Féin administrator Denis Donaldson.
Donaldson was a longtime Sinn Féin figure who, in December 2005, admitted he had been living a double life as an MI5 informant for over 20 years.
He fled to a remote cottage in Glenties, Co Donegal where he was shot dead in April 2006.
His murder was the subject of a BBC Spotlight programme last night where a former IRA member turned British agent, known only as Martin, claimed Adams had ordered Donaldson's killing.
The Taoiseach says he has no indication the claims are true, but believes Adams should answer questions about the matter.
