An Aer Lingus plane has had to make an emergency landing at New York's JFK airport overnight.
The Shannon-bound flight returned to the ground just 15 minutes after taking off from the same airport, after it reported a number of technical problems.
Emergency services at the Port Authority attended the scene as the flight landed again at around a quarter past seven local time.
Passengers were bused back to the terminal building and no-one was injured in the incident.
