Bono joined Bruce Springsteen on stage at his gig in Croke Park last night.

The two singers performed the song made famous by Patti Smith, 'Because the Night'.

The Boss originally wrote the song for his own album, Darkness on the Edge of Town, before giving it to Smith.

Springsteen wowed a 160-thousand strong crowd of hardcore fans over two nights in Dublin, during his River Tour.
