Workers at Dublin department store Boyers say they're devastated at the decision to close the shop.
Fitzwilliam Finance Partners told management and staff today that it plans to shut the shop in January 2016 - following an orderly wind down.
Boyers employs 48 people directly and between 30 and 35 through concessions.
The company has begun a consultation process with Boyers employees and their union representatives - and is said to be considering redeployment options.
