Talks aimed at resolving the dispute at Bus Éireann are underway at the Workplace Relations Commission
All parties accepted the invitation the WRC last night to try to resolve the dispute.
However services across the country remain suspended for the thirteenth day, as workers continue to picket the depots.
SIPTU's Willie Noone says they want management to show once and for all what they're prepared to do to save the company.
Bus Eireann says that cost-saving measures, such as route closures and cuts to premium pay and overtime, are necessary to ensure that the company can remain solvent. Acting CEO Ray Hernan made no comment on his way into talks today.
Unions say while they recognise there are some inefficiencies at the company which they're willing to work on, cost-saving measures have not been implemented fairly across the board.

The WRC has not requested that the strike be called off and for the moment pickets remain in place. Talks are likely to continue for some time, and Dermot O'Leary from the NBRU says they're under instructions from their members to come away with something they might vote on.
SIPTU'S Willie Noone agreed that until a resolution is reached pickets can't be lifted - meaning ongoing disruption for passengers across the country.
