Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Cats is apparently being made into a movie.

According to the US website, Variety, Tom Hooper - who's behind films including Les Miserables, The Danish Girl, and The King's Speech - will direct.

A made-for-TV movie was produced in 1998, but Hooper's version would be the first time the show will be adapted for the big screen.
