People should be cleaning their window frames and wiping their light bulbs every year according to a team of housekeeping experts.

According to the Good Housekeeping Institute's guide for a clean house we should clean the toilet bowl and kitchen surfaces every day.

Bedsheets, towels and dusting should be done every week.

And every month you should wash your windows, hoover under your furniture and clean the dishwasher.
