Bill Cosby has filed a defamation suit against seven of the women who've accused him of sexual assault.

In a statement he accused the women of lying, intentionally inflicting emotional distress and damaging the entertainer's reputation, for financial gain.

The 78-year-old, best known for his role in the 1980s television hit The Cosby Show, has repeatedly denied doing anything wrong and has never been criminally charged.
