The advisor to the US president elect Donald Trump says he wants to lower the country's tax rate to keep companies in the US.
The move is also a bid to lure multinational companies away from countries like Ireland and back to the States.
It's thought that Donald Trump could reduce the US corporate tax from 35 percent, to between 15 and 20 per cent when he comes into power in January.
Trump's senior economic advisor Stephen Moore, says companies need an incentive to do business in the US.
Even if America drops its corporate tax rate it may not have an immediate affect on Ireland.
