In unfortunate news, Dublin Comic Con is postponing this weekend's event until a later date in August.

In a statement, they said it has been a very difficult decision for them to come to.

Full Statement:

"After long discussions throughout the night and this morning, we are afraid we have to postpone the DCC Spring Edition event and push into until August.

This has been a very hard decision for us to make. We are fans first and foremost, and DCC is a big part of who we are. These shows are a labour of love and its not a decision that has been taken lightly. Along with the venue and guests, we have done all we can to keep the show going in a safe manner and give people something positive to be excited for, an escape from reality during what are very trying times.

As of yesterday, we were committed to ensuring that the event went ahead safely, but in a very short time we have seen the local and global landscape change beyond our control. Combine with last minute guest cancellations, which effect the quality of the show, and the general consensus from the public with requesting the event be postponed, we feel this is the best solution to both protect the health and safety of attendees, guests and staff and ensure people have adequate time to cancel or change their plans for the event.

As a default ALL tickets and stall holders will be transferred to our August show, but we ask for patience as we set up alternatives for those of you who wish to have a refund instead of a transfer."

All Today FM ticket winners will be honoured for the event in August. However, if you have concerns you can email us at info@todayfm.com.
