€44,500 Worth Of Counterfeit Clothing Seized in Louth

€44,500 worth of counterfeit clothing has been seized in Co. Louth.

The haul contains fake versions of Nike, Canada Goose and The North Face goods.

They were recovered following searches at two separate properties in Dundalk on Friday.

At around noon, one premises was searched where counterfeit clothing with an estimated retail value of €8,500 was recovered, along with €2,100 of cocaine.

A follow-up search was then carried out at another property in Dundalk where counterfeit clothing with a retail value of approximately €36,000 was seized.

Gardaí also discovered cannabis plants valued at €3,200 and around €300 worth of cannabis herb.

Weighing scales, mobile phones, and other items associated with drug dealing were also seized.

No one has been arrested.
