At least 77 people are now known to have died after a powerful earthquake struck northwest Ecuador.
The country's vice president Jorge Glas has declared a nationwide state of emergency.
Officials say the quake measuring 7.8 in magnitude, has caused "considerable damage" with almost 600 people said to be injured.
A tsunami warning has also been issued in neighbouring Peru.
