A man has been arrested in the UK on suspicion of making a hoax bomb threat on board a passenger airline.
Qatar Airways flight QR23, which was travelling from Doha to Manchester, reported concerns about a possible device.
The aircraft made an emergency landing after it was escorted to the ground by an Royal Air Force fighter jet.

The flight landed without incident but Greater Manchester Police treated the incident as a "full emergency".
None of the 269 passengers and 13 crew were injured and police say they're now treating it as an 'isolated incident'.
