Events are taking place around the country today to mark the 100th anniversary of the actual date of the 1916 Rising.
In Dublin, there'll be a commemoration ceremony at Arbour Hill, while Laochra - a celebration of music and dance - will take place at Croke Park.
The Reclaim the Vision of 1916 group is also hosting a parade - starting at 2pm at Merrion Square - which will make its way to the GPO, where a free open-air concert will take place from 3pm.
