A new poll has found that Fianna Fail was the most popular party in the run-up to this week's Budget announcement.
The survey by Behaviour and Attitudes for the Sunday Times puts Micheal Martin's party on 30%, up 2%, while Fine Gael trail behind on 26% - up 3 points.
The poll was taken between the 1st and 12th of October, in the run-up to and immediately after the announcement of the Budget this week.
Many of the other opposition parties have fallen in popularity since the last poll, Sinn Fein is down 1 point to 17%, Labour is down 2 to 5%, while Independents and Others are down 1 point to 23%.
