Talks between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil will not resume over the weekend.
The two party leaders Enda Kenny and Micheál Martin met this morning for an hour to discuss the impasse.

Sources now say the talks will resume on Monday, with some internal meetings ongoing within the parties.
