Nine days of national mourning are underway in Cuba, following the death of Fidel Castro.

The former President has been cremated.

His ashes will be brought across the country this week, before being interred in Santiago next Sunday. 

In contrast, Cuban-Americans have been celebrating the death of Mr Castro.
