Good news, as a golden eagle chick has been bred in captivity for the first time ever in Ireland.
The chick, whose sex is not yet known, is just over 2 weeks old and was bred using artificial insemination by Brian McCann who owns the Newgrange Falconry, in county Louth.
It's hoped it will help to re-introduce birds of prey and create populations living in Ireland.
Mr McCann says they've been trying breed from the parent Golden Eagles for a number of years.
