Gardai in Kildare are carrying out searches around a field where a body was discovered yesterday afternoon.
The remains are believed to be those of a missing 20 year old.
A farmer discovered the body while out walking his land, at around half past 3 yesterday afternoon in Cornamucklagh near Broadford.

Gardai were alerted and a preliminary post-mortem was carried out before the body was removed to Naas General Hospital.
Gardai in Leixlip are awaiting the results of the Post mortem examination, which will determine the exact course of their investigation, but it’s understood the body had multiple, serious injuries.
The man has been named locally as Silvestras Stoskus – a 20 year old Lithuanian man who was reported missing from his Kinnegad home 10 days ago.
The man, although known to gardai, did not have any previous convictions.
It’s expected that the matter will be upgraded to a murder investigation later today.
