The first major TV debate of the election campaign will be held tonight.
The leaders of the four major parties are all due in Dublin this evening ahead of the debate which begins on TV3 and Newstalk at 9 o’clock.
Enda Kenny, Joan Burton, Micheal Martin and Gerry Adams are all due to take part - and with polls showing a fairly static electorate so far, the stakes are getting ever higher.
The four-way debate will be chaired by Pat Kenny and Colette Fitzpatrick, and last for 90 minutes.

Ahead of that, Fianna Fáil will publish its full election manifesto - called ‘An Ireland for All’ - in Dublin.
Labour meanwhile will publish a housing plan, including 15,000 new social housing units, while Sinn Féin tables a document on including people with disabilities.
The Green Party and People Before Profit also launch their election manifestos, while the Greens also begin High Court action to get included in the next major TV debate, on RTE on Monday night.
