Budget 2018 will be delivered in the Dail this afternoon.
It's the first budget for Leo Varadkar as Taoiseach and Paschal Donohoe as Minister for Finance and will have to first be passed by a Cabinet meeting this morning.
Taxpayers will spend €60 billion running the country over the next 12 months.
Workers are expected to get an extra €5 a week after cuts to the USC and changes in income tax bands.
Tax increases are expected to include cigarettes and sugary drinks.
While all eyes will be on measures aiming to tackle housing and homelessness.
In a video released last night, Minister Donohoe promised spending increases but said that past mistakes won't be repeated.
