The US Secretary of State John Kerry has told reporters he's spent 29 years in the US senate and has a 100 per cent voting record that is pro-Israel.
It comes as Gaza has been rocked by a series of huge explosions in the last couple of hours.
Officials claim at least 100 Palestinians have died today alone in Israel's military offensive.
John Kerry says he will not take a second seat to anybody in his friendship and devotion to the protection of the State of Israel.
However, Secretary Kerry says it is better to try and solve the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza by negotiating a ceasefire.
