The Head of the IDA says the European Commission is out of line in suing Ireland over the Apple case.
A ruling last year determined that Ireland needed to recoup 13 billion euro Apple received in unfair state aid and this week Ireland was sued for not doing more to take control of it.
Martin Shanahan has been appearing before the Oireachtas today and he's said that the Commission is acting in an unwarranted way
He says it's 'more of the same' from the Commission but that it's not affecting investment in Ireland.
He's also denied that we're dragging our feet collecting the 13 billion in back taxes, saying that's plain wrong as he has seen the work underway.
