House to house inquiries are being carried out in Co Louth today as investigations into the murder of taxi driver Martin Mulligan continue.
The 53 year old father of two was found dead on the side of the road in Kilcurry just outside Dundalk in the early hours of Monday morning.
Gardai have launched a murder inquiry and have sought the help of the PSNI.
They're also appealing to anyone who used Mr Mulligan's taxi to come forward.
The murder puts the spotlight on the dangers faced by taxi drivers.
